Hi Glenn, after reading this post I had a few thoughts to add. Many young people are made to feel guilty if they aren't following the "rules". Going to church every time the doors are open help many people stay focused and build their faith. However, teens need to understand that being seen at church does not make them a Christian. There are many ways to please God and help others that are much more important than being seen in church every Sunday. Its okay to visit other churches with family and friends. Helping a neighbor/friend in need is much more important and pleasing to God than chatting with your friends at church. There are many ways to worship and follow God's plan for us. Church services are a great way to build faith and learn from others, but its not the only way to worship and honor God.
